International medical students often face significant hurdles transitioning into U.S. clinical practice. Dr. Sameer Suhail recognized this early and created American International Clinical Group (AICG) to offer real-world training and mentorship.
Through AICG, thousands of foreign-trained doctors have completed rotations in top U.S. hospitals, gaining exposure to American healthcare systems, cultural norms, and patient management standards. Dr. Suhail’s program doesn’t just meet regulatory requirements—it creates an inclusive learning environment that prepares graduates for residency and beyond.
This work is especially impactful in addressing the U.S. physician shortage, particularly in primary care and rural medicine. Many AICG graduates go on to serve in areas where their presence is most needed.
